I'm Rhiannon, I'm a travel and adventure photographer from Scotland. I'm a lover of stories, a chaser of adventure, and am eternally curious about the world around me. An interest in people and places has always driven my photography and with an academic background in geopolitics and international security, I aim to use my photography as a way to highlight important issues, create understanding between cultures, and to share stories from across the globe.

My Story

It all began with a bright pink barbie camera. As a rather eager ___ year old, it was the first thing I ever saved up to buy and I've had a camera in my hand ever since. When I wasn't behind the lens, or out walking in the hills of my native Argyll, Scotland, I could be found pouring over an atlas or lost in an old copy of National Geographic.

I've always been interested in the world around me which led me to getting degrees in geopolitics and international security in a desire to better understand the cultures and environments that my travels took me to. I'm passionate about sustainability both in terms of the natural environment and local populations as well as bottom up development. I'm passionate about telling stories in ethical and authentic ways and believe in building bridges and understanding between communities. I'm an avid supporter of the idea that travel, when done right, can be a force for good.

As I got older, photography became a way to record my adventures and share stories from both near and far away from home. Finishing university, I headed off to Cape Town

On my return to the UK, I embarked on a career as an Expedition Coordinator for an adventure travel company where I was able to use my extensive travel experience and love of logistics to plan, plot and put together adventures and expeditions for people from all walks of life. I spent my days dealing with everything from logistics and planning to marketing and answering customer queries. Nowadays I'm still often found pouring over maps and plotting itineraries to set out in search of ______

I'm a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and when I'm not seeking out the perfect photo, I can be found sketching, hillwalking,

Most recently, I set out on a 12,000 mile solo journey to cover the length and breadth of continental Europe.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
