Whether hillwalking in the wilds of her native Scotland or travelling overseas, she’s always been on a mission to see as much of the world as possible.

An interest in people and places has always driven her photography and with an academic background in geopolitics and international security, she aims to use her photography and writing as a way to highlight important issues, create understanding between cultures, and to share stories from across the globe.

A fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, her travels have seen her dog sled in the Arctic Circle, swim with Manta Rays off the coast of Mozambique, hiking in the South African bush, be mistaken as a local in Tunisia, and get thrown from a horse in the French Alps. She’s usually found on the move, behind a camera lens, writing about far-flung places, or plotting her next adventure.
